Verrado Welcomes Trend Homes
Trend Homes is one of the few privately owned home building companies left in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. The company was originally founded in Salt Lake City in 1966, then known as Trendsetter Homes. In 1989, founders of the company moved the business to Phoenix, Arizona. Innovative floor plans and a value oriented philosophy allowed the company to succeed in very price conscious market. Steady and well planned growth of 15% per year allowed Trend Homes to diversify into several important market niches. Classic Communities, a division of Trend, builds higher density condominium projects, while Trend focuses on single family homes. The "Regency" brand builds value oriented luxury homes. Each of these entities allows the company to meet the needs of a broad range of customer needs. Recently, the Najafi companies, a Phoenix based private equity firm, purchased the assets of Trend Homes. The professional management team in place is working to strategically position the company for growth when the real estate market recovers. In the meantime, Trend Homes continues to build and sell distinctively designed homes of quality and value.

Verrado presents four Saturdays of FREE musical performances hosted on Verrado’s Village Green; March 13, March 27, April 10 and April 24 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The line-up includes cool jazz, funky blues and R & B, grooving island sounds and everybody’s favorite jazz fusion. Bring a blanket and just sit back and enjoy.
Bring a blanket or chairs for the show, or plan to take it all in from the patio at Grazie Pizzeria Winebar or Park 51 Café on Main Street.
March 13 - Change on Three
Relax with an afternoon of cool, smooth jazz featuring Julian Stewart and band.
March 27 - The Rave
Groove to island sounds and calypso beats with their signature four part harmonies.
April 10 - Charlene Tarango
Treat yourself to the best of rhythm and blues from this powerhouse of vocal talent.
April 24 - The Sahnas Brothers
Savor a beautiful blend of sensual Mediterranean style and jazz-fusion as they come together for a memorable performance.
Performances on Saturdays are from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
