With Victory at Verrado on its way, we thought it would only be right to blow the doors off this year’s Founder’s Day with a very special musical guest. A bonafide rock star. Known best for his iconic hits “Jessie’s Girl,” “Don’t talk to strangers” and “I’ve done everything for you,” this year’s Founder’s Day headliner is none other than Grammy award-winning and top-40 rocker Rick Springfield.
So, if you’re in the Phoenix area on Saturday, April 5th (or plan to make the trip because you’re a closet Rick Springfield fanatic) be sure to join us for Founder’s Day festivities and get ready to rock out with Rick Springfield.
The concert begins at 8 p.m., but feel free to come early and claim your spot or enjoy the Resident Variety Show, another classic Founder’s Day feature. Hosted by the Anderson Institute of Music, this event features many talented, entertaining and amusing acts from throughout the Verrado community.
Advance tickets are not required for the celebration. Be sure to check out this full blog post on Founder’s Day to learn more about what makes it the biggest celebration of the year.
About Founder’s Day:
Verrado truly is “community.” A place where neighbors enjoy spending time together. Where residents become lifelong friends. And where different generations can inspire and be inspired by one another. In order to celebrate the wonderful community Verrado has become, we like to host a huge party every year called Founder’s Day. It’s a fun-filled event that helps us say thanks to the families and neighbors that choose to call Verrado home.
And this year is even more special: Founder’s Day Weekend 2014, which takes place April 5th to 6th, marks Verrado’s 10th anniversary. Along with the slew of events for current residents, Founder’s Day is the perfect opportunity for prospective residents to experience just what the community has to offer.
