We know, we know, it’s only May — way too early to start planning for New Year’s eve, right? Well, we might normally agree, but this year isn’t going to be just any NYE celebration, so we decided to get things started early.
In fact, the countdown is officially on as this New Year’s Eve also marks the opening of The Victory Club at Verrado. That’s right, we’ll be ringing in the New Year with Victory’s inaugural New Year’s Eve party at The Vic restaurant. So mark your calendars and start counting the days – New Year’s Eve at the all-new Victory Club will be here before you know it.
While party planning is already under way, the crew at Victory is also full steam ahead on construction at the Victory Club site. If you’ve been out to The Big Patio recently, you would have seen first hand how much progress is being made out there. It’s truly amazing, and we’re so thrilled to see this incredible place come to life. We’ve said it many times before, but the Victory Club site is really special, elevated 120+ feet over the Valley floor and nestled right into the White Tank Mountains, with clear views of downtown.
There is lots going on, but over the next few months you can expect to see more walls popping up, Arts with a View and the Quad taking shape, pools being dug and poured, completed sport courts (tennis and pickleball), flooring, ceiling and millwork installations, and tons of other cool stuff.
Just this week the Community Crew and Big Patio visitors began seeing “sticks in the air,” as they say, while the construction crews worked on framing out The Vic. It is a site to be seen so be sure to stop by and check it out. Here’s a photo to give you a better idea of what we’re talking about.
We are also extremely excited to share that a new scale model of the Victory Club has just been installed at The Big Patio. It’s an excellent look at what the club will be like once complete, so you should definitely make a trip out to check it out sometime soon. Plus, as always, there’s a ton of stuff going on in Victory and Verrado, so your trip will be worth your while. Here are a few shots of the model to whet your appetite. Looks awesome, right?
There’s a lot going on around the building, too. One extremely cool feature in particular is Victory Vineyard, which as you can see from the photo below has now officially been planted and will soon be taking shape. We’ll be bringing you updates on the vineyard and even sharing some insights from the resident oenologist in the months to come.
Finally, there’s ton of non-construction stuff happening around the Victory Club right now as well. With opening just 6 months away, the team here is hard at work plugging through the many, many details it takes to bring a place like this to life. On the restaurant side we are meeting almost daily with our Senior VP of Club Operations, David O’Donaghue, and other key influencers in the restaurant scene to work through details on The Vic. From customer service and staffing, to menus and everything in between, we are loving how things are coming together. Plus, the fun is really starting because we have begun the process of interviewing would-be Chef’s to head up the operation. There’s also been whispers that our 2,500 bottle wall of wine is being constructed with our resident sommelier working on selection currently. The Whiskey and Bourbon wall is also under construction as we speak. It’s just amazing how much creativity and innovation is happening in the food space right now and we can’t wait to bring that flare to Victory. Stay tuned for more updates.
We are also collaborating closely on Victory Spa plans with Sharon Narduzzi, Director of Spa & Retail at DMB’s acclaimed Silverleaf Club. The process is driving us towards a spa philosophy that’s centered around making recuperation and relaxation a part of your life, not just an occasional moment of pampering. At at a reasonable price, too. All to support vitality, longevity, and healthy living. We can’t share too much more now, but can ensure you that you won’t be disappointed with what we’re working up for Victory at Verrado.
Along with all this food and spa talk, we are also full speed ahead on finalizing floor plans, equipment selections and other details for the Life Performance Training Center at Victory. Classes and curriculums are under development and we are even actively searching for the right trainers and fitness directors to help us deliver on the vision and create a truly one-of-a-kind health and wellness experience for Victory residents.
Through all of this planning, we are fortunate to be able to draw from the vast experience and talent that has made DMB Clubs at places like Kakui’ula, Martis Camp, Lahonton, Silverleaf and SantaLuz so great.
There will be no shortage of stuff to share over the next few months, so please be sure to stay tuned for more updates on progress at the Victory Club and throughout Victory. As always, you can find full details on The Victory Club right here.
Thanks for reading! – Team Victory
We promise we’ll only send you the good stuff.
