On Tuesday, June 13, the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) voted four to one in favor of consolidation of Epcor’s wastewater districts. The decision was made at an open meeting after four hours of deliberations.

The vote will bring all Epcor wastewater costumers to the same rate over the course of five years, decreasing Verrado’s wastewater rates effective July 1. Residents can expect to see the current wastewater rate of $71 change to around $63, and the fee will continue to reduce annually for the next five years.
