Did you know breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer in women, and about one in eight women born today in the United States will get breast cancer at some point?  Those are some staggering statistics, right?

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Victory at Verrado is proudly hosting the first Breast Cancer Warriors of Verrado’s 5K Walk/Run on October 10 at The Big Patio^®.  This free 5K event is the brainchild of resident, Marje Newman, who established the Verrado Breast Cancer Warriors group in 2014.  Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.

Come out and show our support with friends and family by walking or running in honor of the fighters, the survivors, and recognize those who lost their lives to this devastating disease.
