The Verrado Kennel Club and Community Paws are inviting residents to join them in a fun-filled way by kicking off Valentine’s Day weekend with a showing of Lady and the Tramp on February 12 in the Village Green. The fun starts at 5:00 pm.
Lady and the Tramp is a 1955 American animated romantic produced by Walt Disney. This popular movie tells the story of a female American Cocker Spaniel named Lady who lives a refined lifestyle, and a male stray dog named Tramp. When the two dogs meet, they embark on many romantic adventures, including the famous scene where Lady and Tramp cozy up to a plate of spaghetti.
Speaking of cozying up to a plate of spaghetti, Tempo Urban Bistro (Tempo) is preparing a delicious spaghetti dinner for those participating, which is served in takeout boxes from Tempo. Hot chocolate and popcorn will also be provided free of charge. Tickets are available online through February 10 and range from $10/adult (includes free doggie meal) to $5/child.
Ticket prices help support Community Paws, which is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization focused on building relationships with neighbors in order to promote animal advocacy.
So come on out and bring your chairs, blankets and your pooch on February 12 and join us in a “Bella Notte” under the stars.
