Keep Cool at Verrado’s Pools

Related Categories: Community Amenities | News | Recreation

As the temperatures start to rise, Verrado has two amazing amenities to help cool down. The Center on Main™ and the Heritage Swim Park are a great opportunity to not only cool down but a great place to make memories with your family and friends. Before you grab your suit and towel, the Verrado Assembly, would like to address some frequently asked questions to help provide residents answers to not only what is expected at these amenities but a friendly reminder of some of the guidelines as well.

What items can I take in the pool?
At both amenities, safety is the number one priority for all ages. To help keep this a safe environment and to be in compliance with Maricopa County and Arizona State regulations, Verrado pools are allowed to have Coast Guard approved life vests, puddle jumpers, beach balls and goggles.
Items that are not allowed in the pools are flotation toys, (ie., inflatable tubes, inflatable ride on toys, etc.), pool noodles, pool toys, squirt guns and swim masks.

Why can’t I bring glass objects?
If glass breaks in the pool grounds, the entire pool amenity and surroundings will be shut down and the pool will need to be drained which can be a 2 day to 1 week process. Safety is the number one concern and eliminating glass keeps the amenities in compliance with county and state regulations. Please remember that some swim masks have glass lenses.

Can I smoke my e-cig?
Smoking is not permitted on any of the premises, this includes e-cigarettes.

How many guests can I bring with me?
Verrado’s guest policy allows each household to bring up to four (4) guests which includes children.

Can I leave my children at the park unattended?
There is no lifeguard on duty, so please supervise your child while enjoying the amenities. Children aged 14 and over are permitted at the amenities without adult supervision. Please note that children aged 14-17 are not permitted to bring younger siblings or friends without an adult present. We define “adult” as someone who is 18 years of age.
May I bring food to The Heritage Swim Park and The Center on Main pools?
Absolutely, please be aware that food or drinks cannot be consumed in the swimming pools and must be at least four (4) feet away from the pool edge.

Are there grills at the Heritage Swim Park?
Yes, there are both gas and charcoal grills available for use at the Heritage Swim Park. Grilling utensils and cleaning brushes are available for use and can be found in the residents’ kitchen. Please ensure that you leave the grill and utensils in a clean condition for future use.

How do I reserve a room at The Center on Main™ or a ramada at The Heritage Swim Park?
To reserve a ramada or a room, visit and log in. Hover over “My Community” and click on “Verrado Facility Reservations” for pricing and availability. Please also refer to the Rental Agreements for further information.  Check availability
