The wait is over. Culver’s of Buckeye, opened its Verrado Marketside location on May 24, 2016. This leading fast and casual restaurant chain famous for its ButterBurgers, Fresh Frozen Custard and Wisconsin Cheese Curds is now at Verrado’s door step.
“Culver’s is one of the most popular restaurants around because they deliver a superior product and experience. We are delighted to have their first Buckeye restaurant located in Verrado,” said Mike Burke, Senior Vice President of Commercial for DMB.
Greg and Darlene Landon are 18-year Culver Franchisees who reside in Goodyear, AZ. They own restaurants in Arizona as well as Wisconsin and Illinois. The restaurant in Verrado will be their first joint-venture with their daughter, Jacqui Landon Kliesner and son-in-law, Marc Kliesner.
“Culver’s is a good fit for the Verrado community. We share hometown values and we treat our customers like family,” said Greg Landon.
The Landon family plans to host a grand opening celebration for its Verrado Marketside location in July 2016. In the meantime, stop by to enjoy a scoop of today’s Flavor of the Day.
Verrado’s Marketside is a 60-acre mixed-use district at the gateway of the community that includes Banner Health Center, Verrado Coffee Company and CST convenience store and fuel station and now Culver’s. Continued Marketside development could include restaurants, shopping, medical, hotels and residential units that will be developed to complement the hometown feel of Verrado with accessibility to a larger market.
