The spirit of giving in Verrado is growing as countless volunteers are faithfully supporting our local schools and non-profit partners by donating their time, talent, and resources. We believe The Verrado Assembly’s Giving Tree program, reflective of Verrado’s nature of giving, is an important part of our community heritage and legacy.
It all began with like-minded residents’ commitment to philanthropic initiatives, who wanted to cultivate a community of generosity. The first charity event associated with The Giving Tree was the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Buckeye in 2007, bringing together a variety of stakeholders from Verrado and beyond in the fight against cancer.
The various ways to get involved are limitless within The Giving Tree’s diverse portfolio of community partners. From supporting your local food bank once per month to traveling abroad in order to bring clean water and sanitation to a community in need, there’s something for everyone.
During Founder’s Day 2016 events, we encourage the spirit of giving to grow even stronger! Connect with Giving Tree partners, share what cause you’re fighting for and discover how you can make a difference and positively impact your community.
