Did you know that your dollars can actually go four times farther when you patronize local businesses? That’s because local merchants are much more likely to put their money right back into the local economy.
Main Street, Verrado’s downtown district, is home to a vibrant line-up of locally owned and operated businesses with deep roots in the community, including anchors such as Basha’s–Arizona’s Hometown Grocer, Ciao Grazie and Tempo Urban Bistro, among others.
As a proud member of Local First Arizona and the ‘buy local’ movement, Main Street will showcase its best and brightest on Wednesday, September 17 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. with a progressive mixer where local business owners and Local First members can mingle and learn how Local First is promoting and supporting Arizona’s independent businesses.
With updates from Local First Arizona, DMB Commercial and Verrado’s Community Council team, this is your chance to learn about the amenities of Verrado, meet other like-minded local merchants, experience Main Street’s charm and enjoy delicious food samples at both eateries.
Wednesday, September 17th Mixer Schedule:
Part One: 5:30 pm, Ciao Grazie, 21051 W. Main Street
Local First Arizona information session, introductions including Mayor Meck of Buckeye and a walking tour of Main Street.
Part Two: 7:15 pm, Tempo Urban Bistro, 21067 W. Main Street
The mixer continues a few doors down, with more bites, speakers and a drawing.
Whether you are already a member or a local business owner interested in learning how Local First Arizona can support your company, you are encouraged to attend. Who knows? You could even score a round of golf for four at Verrado Golf Club®.
When you shop and dine local, we all win! To attend this evening free of charge, email chrisal@localfirstaz.com with your RSVP. Then get ready to be inspired on Main Street!
