Verrado presents four Saturdays of FREE musical performances hosted on Verrado’s Village Green; March 3, March 17, April 14 and April 28 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The line-up includes cool jazz, world beat, R & B and calypso/island rhythms. Bring a blanket and just sit back and enjoy.
Bring a blanket or chairs for the show, or plan to take it all in from the patio at Grazie Pizzeria Winebar or Ground Control on Main Street.
March 3 – Jodi Light and Shining Star
Enjoy the fresh sound of Jodi Light as she performs her signature style of neo-soul, funky R & B with jazz overtones. A perfect start to a season of music.
March 17 – Sean Michael Mireau and the Volcano Band
A lively and festive blend of calypso, island, luau, reggae and steel drum music, the Volcano Band will bring high energy fun to Verrado’s Main Street.
April 14 – David Marq
Described as a mesmerizing jazz saxophonist, David Marq will delight with his smooth and sultry renditions of legendary jazz and blues favorites. Just sit back, relax and take it in.
April 28 – Cold Shott and The Hurricane Horns
A mainstay in the Arizona R&B, Blues, Funk and Soul music circuits, Cold Shott and The Hurricane Horns boasts a rocking rhythm section, powerful vocals and a horn section that is sure to make you get up and dance!
Performances on Saturdays are from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
