Back to School Bash Verrado

Excitement for a new school year is in the air as the last few days of summer vacation are coming to a close. Verrado kids are gearing up for the Back-to-School Bash on August 1 at the Heritage Swim Park, where making new friends before school starts is part of the fun. Speaking of fun, kids get to enjoy games, arts, crafts, complimentary ice cream from Summit Community Church and tasty treats offered by an on-site Food Truck. Additionally, donating school supplies provides a chance to win prizes during the event.

Regardless of which school your children attend both in the community and outside the community, we encourage them to all come out for their last hurrah before school starts. This year, another school in the area, Verrado Heritage Elementary School, is added to the mix, which means more buddies to make in the community.

Verrado Heritage Elementary School

Verrado’s beautiful new school is located in the Heritage District near the fire station just west of Verrado Way. The Verrado Heritage Elementary School is the first K-8 school in the district and will house approximately 950 students divided among four classes per grade level.

Verrado is already home to three high-performing schools and this school is sure to follow suit by offering a traditional core-knowledge curriculum and a culture of leadership; another great reason to live in Verrado.
