Barro’s Pizza will bring more nearby dining options to Verrado residents and the greater West Valley region. The family owned and operated restaurant closed escrow on its Verrado Marketside District restaurant site on June 30, 2017.
“The demand for quality dining options in and around Verrado is growing. We are thrilled to have Barro’s Pizza, a reputable brand with a loyal following, join the community,” said Mike Burke, Senior Vice President of Commercial for DMB.
Established in Arizona in 1980, Barro’s Pizza has more than 30 locations Valley-wide. Committed to customer satisfaction and local community relationships, Barro’s prides itself on its loyal customer following.
Barro’s Pizza will join Verrado’s Marketside District existing services and conveniences including Banner Health Center, Verrado Coffee Company, Culver’s and Corner Store with Valero fuel station; and coming later in 2017 Dominion Self-Storage and Palm Valley Pediatric Dentistry.
“As the Verrado community grows, it’s important that the dining and retail options that our residents need and want grow too,” said Todd Hornback, Director for DMB Community Life, Inc. and a Verrado resident.
Construction for Barro’s Pizza is expected to begin soon, with an opening planned for 2018.
Verrado Marketside District is a 60-acre mixed-use district at I-10 and Verrado Way. Ideally located to serve Verrado and the greater West Valley community, development will continue in the coming years and could include complementary services and businesses such as restaurants, shopping, medical, hotels and residential units. The District’s architectural character reflects Verrado’s hometown feel, while being more accessible to a larger market.
