Cactus League LogoThe Cactus League Spring Training season has begun! Ever since 1947, Spring Training baseball has been a much-loved tradition for baseball fans. Every spring, professional baseball teams come to Arizona to prepare for the regular season and prepare in the warm Arizona weather. Visitors come to Arizona from far and wide to participate in the fun!

There are currently 15 teams that train throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area. This is a major growth from the two teams (The Cleveland Indians and the New York Giants) who started with the Cactus League in 1947. We are lucky to live in an area with the greatest concentration of professional baseball facilities anywhere in the country.

With a short drive time between ballparks, there are plenty of options and places for baseball lovers to catch a game. And with many of the stadiums conveniently located in or near the West Valley, it makes it that much easier for Verrado residents to get in on the action!
