The Victory Party at Verrado was a Victory! On November 9th, the community celebrated in true Verrado fashion at the event of the season. More than 2,000 people joined in the festivities as the new Victory District was celebrated with an all-day event on Verrado’s main street featuring dozens of fun activities, live music, and fireworks.

The morning kicked off with a Farmer’s Market in the Village Commons. Event attendees wandered through the extensive market, where they enjoyed shopping and snacking on locally grown produce, fresh-baked bread, salsas, jams, and more!
Many visitors joined in for a relaxing yoga session in the park. Yoga instructor Candace Jordan led participants through a slow flow yoga class – it was a fantastic way to start off the day and enjoy the outdoors.

Throughout the afternoon, residents and visitors enjoyed strolling through Verrado, browsing works of art at the Fine Art Expo; sipping local wine at the Wine Tasting; and listening to live music at the Jazz Festival. The performers included live music by Big Pete Pearson, the Sahnas Brothers Trio, and headliner, Saxophonist Marion Meadows.

At sundown, after an exciting day filled with shopping, yoga, wine tasting, an art expo, live music, food, and more, the evening wrapped up with an extravagant Victory Fireworks finale at The Raven.

Visitors were very curious about the new Victory concept – more than 300 people stopped by to learn about the Victory District. As the first active adult community of its kind in Arizona, the concept is to offer homes, built by a variety of homebuilders, in an array of home styles and sizes. Victory will eventually consist of 3,500 new homes.

Backing to the picturesque White Tank Mountains in the Verrado community, the new Victory community will be developed after DMB Associates spent three years consulting with Baby Boomer lifestyle experts (doctors, fitness experts, educators, and nonprofits) to inform decisions on land planning, amenities, activities and lifestyle.
