The Vic Bar + Kitchen welcomes Executive Chef Mike Scoplitte.
Chef Mike has an extensive role leading the kitchen operations and profitability of The Vic Bar + Kitchen and Verrado Grille, as well as overseeing all Verrado Golf culinary-focused amenities such as The Cliffhouse at The Victory Course and cart options at both courses. Chef Mike also plays a supporting role in your food selection at Verrado Coffee Company.
In addition, Executive Chef Mike will train all chefs, cooks and other kitchen staff on new trends and influences to ensure a consistent yet creative dining experience. Chef Mike has many years of experience in community-engaged culinary roles making him a great fit for the needs of The Vic.
In his first week on the job, Chef Mike jumped right in, representing The Vic Bar + Kitchen on ABC 15 Sonoran Living segment on Flavors of the West.
Flavors of the West is a culinary festival experience with food, music, games and more to benefit West Valley charities. The 2017 festival held April 8 to benefit The Honey Foundation, an organization with a vision to live in a world dedicated to kindness. Three Verrado restaurants participated in Flavors of the West: Vic Bar + Kitchen, Verrado Grille and Tempo Urban Bistro. Each delivered 500+ tasty bites to participants. Tempo’s Chef Maynard also lead a cooking demonstration at the event.
