Come out to Verrado’s Main Street on November 9th to help us celebrate our newest district, Victory at Verrado! We will be hosting an all day celebration to commemorate this exciting landmark in Verrado’s history. Start the day by centering your mind and exercising your body with yoga in the Village Commons, then stroll through the farmers market and select some of the fresh produce from our own local farmers. When you’ve found your healthy treasures, come grab a glass of wine and meander through the fine art expo and wine tasting on Main Street. As if that wasn’t enough, you can dance away the afternoon to live music featuring nationally and locally renowned jazz artists such as Marion Meadows and Big Pete Pearson on two different stages. When your feet get tired, head up to the Raven patio and enjoy a front row seat to the firework finale. Now that’s what we call a Victory Party!

The day’s event schedule is as follows:

9:00 am-1:00 pm:
Farmer’s Market in the Village Commons. Come see all the great vendors. Get locally-grown produce, fresh-baked bread, fresh flowers, salsas, jarred jams and more!

9:00 – 10:00 am:
Yoga in the Park. Yoga instructor Candace Jordan of Ignite Yoga will lead a slow flow yoga class in the Village Commons. All experience and skill levels are welcome. Class is free – please bring your own yoga mat.

2:00 – 6:00 pm:
Fine Art Expo. Browse works from a unique and elite group of artists providing original works in acrylic and oil paintings, sculpted pictorial art, copper relief sculptures, bronze and stone sculptures.

Wine Tasting. What better way to experience great music then with great wine? Enjoy a selection of Arizona wines presented by Verrado Grille. Tickets for the tasting available for purchase at the event. Proceeds benefit The West Valley Arts Council.

Jazz Festival. Stroll up and down Main Street and enjoy some of the most talented local jazz artists.

Marion Meadows. Saxophonist Marion Meadows has been a hit solo artist since the ‘90s – he has become a staple of the smooth jazz format.

Big Pete Pearson. Pete has ruled the blues scene in Phoenix ever since the ‘50s. The local legend was inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame in 1995 and his music is enjoyed worldwide.

Sahnas Brothers Trio. Known throughout the Valley for their magical and intimate Mediterranean-style, the Sahnas Brothers music is heavily influenced by their Greek culture, Latin rhythms, and flamenco style guitar.

6:00 pm:
Fireworks show viewable from Main Street.
