Volunteers in Police Services Program Needed for the Town of Buckeye

The Buckeye Police Department’s Volunteer In Police Service (VIPS) provides members of the community with an opportunity to volunteer and get an inside look at law enforcement. The VIPS program is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the operations and resources of the Buckeye Police Department. The goal of the Buckeye VIPS program is to provide a greater awareness and understanding of law enforcement’s role in our community.

Opportunities include:

– Filing and Data Entry for Records and Code Compliance
– Receptionist
– Citizens Assist – Assisting stranded motorists and on accident scenes
– Fingerprinting
– Assisting with the 3511program
– VIN Etching
– Wellness and Vacation Checks

Anyone that would like to volunteer should fill out the volunteer application and VIPS – Background Check, then contact lead volunteer, Neil Kilanski at 623-349-6454.
