Tempo Winemaker Dinners
Do you like wine? Yeah, we do too. And what’s better than pairing it with delicious food? Having a great chef do it expertly for you, of course! Verrado’s own Tempo Urban Bistro and Coffee Bar will be hosting a series of winemaker dinners you won’t want to miss this summer. Tempo is a cutting-edge urban bistro focused on fresh food, craft beer, wine, music and art.
Here’s a little teaser to whet your appetite. The first winemaker dinner in the series is featuring all locally grown, seasonal ingredients. The food comes from Blue Sky Organic Farms, Adams Natural Meats, Queen Creek Olive Mill, and Noble Breads. They also use house made cheese and local honey.
The price for the dinner is $50 inclusive (pre-pay).
Grown Local Wine Dinner – Sunday, May 31st at 6:00 p.m.
Start off your five courses with an Amuse Buouche of warm eggplant caponata and noble bread paired with Zinfandel. Then enjoy a farm fresh tomato salad with queen creek olive oil and balsamic paired with Sauvignon Blanc. For the pasta course, confit of chicken with duck egg pasta, wilted arugula and chicken skin bacon, paired with Syrah.
Cleanse your pallet with a melon sorbet before diving into the entrée, consisting of bison New York strip and a trio of duchess potatoes paired with merlot. This deliciousness wouldn’t be complete without house made sweet ricotta with local honey paired with Moscato for dessert.
