Construction improvements to the intersection of Jackrabbit Trail and Indian School Road are expected to begin Feb. 27 and continue through early May.
These improvements are being made by both the City of Buckeye and Verrado’s developer, DMB, to alleviate traffic to/from Verrado High School and also to accommodate the anticipated increase in traffic from the Village Grove at Verrado commercial center.
These improvements include adding a traffic signal; adding an eastbound through lane and right-turn-only lane onto Jackrabbit; widening the intersection at Jackrabbit Trail and Indian School Road; widening Jackrabbit Trail to two southbound lanes on the commercial frontage; and widening Indian School Road to three westbound lanes along the commercial frontage.
Travel delays can be expected during this construction.
In addition, Fry’s will begin construction on their Marketplace site within Village Grove at Verrado on Feb. 27, and will continue construction through the end of 2017.
