Arizona Draws Boomers; Victory Draws Those Redefining Retirement

New rankings report that Arizona is drawing more Baby Boomers than every other state but Florida.

Sunshine, affordable housing and lower taxes are among the reasons many 60 years and older have chosen and continue to choose the Valley of the Sun as they pull back from full-time work schedules at an office.

But unique to today’s “retirees” is a desire to redefine retirement. It’s a time to be social and active. It’s a time to be part a larger community. And Victory has all of that and more.

Victory residents value health and fitness. It’s pretty special that we can walk out our door and within a few blocks be hiking in the stunning White Tank Mountains. And of course there’s our state-of-the-art Life Performance Training Center.

And Victory residents are social, citing food and dining, wine tasting, art classes and card game and other clubs as important. We also like being part of the larger community of Verrado, and specifically appreciate that there are no walls separating the Victory neighborhood.
