As temperatures rise, The Victory Club pools are a great place to gather with neighbors and friends. Before grabbing your suit and towel, we want to address some frequently asked questions about our pools that will help all of us stay safe and also keep our pools clean and in compliance with state and county regulations.
What items can I take in the water?
Safety is our number one priority. To help maintain safe environments at our pools, and to be in compliance with Maricopa County and Arizona regulations, you are allowed to use Coast Guard-approved life vests, puddle jumpers, and goggles (no glass lenses).
You are prohibited from using flotation toys (for example, inflatable tubes, inflatable ride on toys, etc.), pool noodles, pool toys, squirt guns and swim masks in our pools.
Why can’t I bring my own alcohol to the pools?
Any outside alcohol anywhere at The Victory Club is in direct violation of our liquor license. Because of the serious implications of this, any liquor not purchased at The Vic will be discarded immediately.
Why can’t I use glass containers and dishes at the pools?
If glass breaks on the pool grounds, the entire pool amenity and its surroundings will be shut down so that our staff can completely drain the pool. This process can take anywhere from two days to a full week to complete. Additionally, prohibiting glass keeps our amenities in compliance with county and state regulations.
How many guests can I bring with me to the pools?
Verrado’s guest policy allows a resident to bring up to four guests per household over the age of 19. For guests under the age of 19, we encourage you to enjoy both The Center on Main and Heritage Swim Park for fun in the sun.
Can my guests use the swimming pools on their own?
Members must accompany their guests at The Victory Club at all times.
Is there a charge for my guests to use the pools?
There is a $5/day guest policy that allows your guests to utilize both the pools as well as the fitness facilities. For those who have guests staying for an extended period of time, there are discounted passes available through the fitness center.
What is the check-in procedure for utilizing the pools?
For safety and security reasons, we ask that all members and their guests check-in through the fitness center. Please note there isn’t a lifeguard on duty.
